A Math teacher might be someone insignificant in your life. Someone who comes in to give lessons perhaps 3 hours a week. And when that person leaves the classroom, you'd probably treat the person as a stranger. But my math teacher is not. If it were an average teacher, I'd probably fall asleep, since math (to me) isn't something I can enjoy. My math teacher is caring, friendly and somehow, he breaks that student-pupil barrier constantly. Its not like, we don't respect him anymore, though we constantly do forget and talk to him casually like a friend. He'd make a great mentor, i'm sure. And most of all, he plays BADMINTON. LAWL.

Zz, last sentence might've made it seem not serious, but yeah, its true, Mr Lee is a very good teacher, teaching us a subject not everyone enjoys. Sadly.

I meant every word that I wrote. In the end he did become my mentor and I'm really thankful. Maybe it's a bit late but it took me quite a while to realise how nice he's been to us.

I'm quite sure I wasn't THIS concerned with my results before.

This time, the nervousness and pressure that forced me to search for a 'perfect' solution to all the freaking questions in my math test totally crippled my ability to follow through once I started

Lousy mentality.

Once I encounter something slightly alien, I pause.

I rethink.

I doubt myself, whether I made a mistake previously that led to such weird continuation. I wasted fuckloads of time, yet accomplishing nothing. I skip the question, telling myself I'd be able to complete it if I go back.
After I completed most of the paper, I went back, only to doubt myself again, just because the question and numbers weren't as nice as I'd expected them to be. From this point on, it was just a pointless repetition of flipping to pages where there are blanks. As time passed, I felt more and more depressed. I more or less gave up and couldn't think anymore.

So I conclude, something probably went wrong in my head that caused this cowardly mentality that made me so much like a perfectionist and so afraid of being wrong, expecting everything to go the way I want them to and freaking out and hiding back into my fucking shell when things don't.

OBS was great.. not because of the kayaking, not because of the rock climbing and not because of the trekking.

It was great because of the people there.. I guess I was too judgmental before and shouldn't really let a few people ruin my impression of a whole.
